Description
Installation of Granite Cobblestone
Size 100mm x 100mm x 40mm thk. – 5 sides natural split.
Ensure that all concrete slab surfaces are clean and free of all loose material and dust. Lay 50mm thick semi-wet mortar bed; mixture of coarse sand and ordinary Portland cement at the ration of 1: 5. Spread level; follow by installation of cobblestones to a dept of approx. 20mm deep to the mortar bed.
Cobblestone spacing gap of 20mm- 25mm is recommended in order to achieve proper stones leveling and alignment. Cobblestone cutting is recommended to use stone splitter.
Grouting
After complete installation of the cobblestone, the spacing gap is to be grout with cement sand mortar at the ratio of 1:4.
The mortar gap finish level is recommended 5-10 mm below the overall cobblestone finish floor level.
Note: As stone is a natural occurring material and subject to variation in colour, pattern and texture. Our sample is only indicative only.
We recommend that if require, architect/ SO to could carry out trial lay on site to justify the stone tiles laying arrangement prior permanent installation.
